Initial consultations are 60-90 minutes, where we start with discussing your health concerns, and proceed to discuss all areas of your health. All body systems, your lifestyle, and every aspect of your life experience plays a role in your physical, mental and emotional health. To determine the root cause of your symptoms, and provide optimal care, Dr. Amber needs to understand how all of your body systems are functioning.
Together, you and Dr. Amber will create health goals and a personalized path to reach these goals. Follow up visits vary in length, depending on patient needs, and these appointments allow us to monitor progress outcomes and adjust recommendations as necessary.

My style of practice focuses on supporting the body back to optimal function. This starts with identifying the root of your symptoms, using minimal supportive therapies to bring your body back to optimal function, and focusing on the foundations of health, including personalized lifestyle approaches, to maintain health and prevent disease.

After completing a 4 year undergraduate degree, naturopathic doctors undergo at least 4 years of intensive training at an accredited naturopathic medical colleges in North America.
Dr. Amber attended the University of Waterloo to complete her Bachelors of Science, followed by the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine to complete her Doctor of Naturopathy. For more about her personal education background, please visit the About page.
In Ontario and Alberta, naturopathic doctors are regulated under the Health Professions Act. After completion of a Doctor of Naturopathy degree, standardized examinations must be completed before an applicant can apply for registration with a regulating body.
